A few hours before the highly anticipated AFC
Championship game I 'll go get some exercise. I am sure the Saints and the Bears will
provide a great preliminary bout.
I am pretty much out of insights with the Patriots
Colts. I don't even know who will win. I felt very strongly that
the Jets would be
easy, I knew the Chargers were going down. As of last week I
would have said that the Colts and Bears/Saints would be
anticlimactic sort of like the Cardinals in the world series.
Reality is it is a great game this afternoon. For the Patriots
in a hostile setting they will have to play the best game of
their year as Bilichick said. Dungy said something to the effect
that his team needed to play relaxed. That will be a challenge
for Payton. Which team gets off on the good foot?
The Good Foot... Adam Vinaitieri will be there and the
drama somehow will almost guaranteed to come down to the Kicked
Field Goal. Will he drive it right through the uprights, through
the hearts of New England Fans. Some remember of his only three
misses this year two were at New England. Likely he has those
butterflies out of his system. When you leave a team like New
England with the history that they all shared it has to be
really tough on your heart. Like that divorced wife that is
still so beautiful how can you wish her harm. Professionals here
Guy, no one is that sentimental ...it's a tough game. Then you
have the Patriots rookie kicker waiting for his turn waiting for
an opportunity to show that the Page has turned.
I hope you all forgive for this self-indulgence, Without the express
written consent of the NFL I put the end of Superbowl 38 to
Music of sorts. This may be taken down at any time. This is my
tribute to Adam Vinatieri #4 it was one of the most depressing
days I've ever remembered when he signed with the Colts. This
was from one the most exciting and happier days I've remembered.
