At peace with the world. That's a rare place to be. Can you imagine being that way?     I am reminded of John Lennon's famous tune 'Imagine'. Though I don't think it is necessary to be done with the world's religions for us to get there. '...all the people living for Today' 'and 'the World will live as One.' What does it mean to get there? Does that place really exist? Do we need to reach some transcendental, new-age, planetary unification existence or can we just accept it as it is with all it's flaws and tragedies and be at Peace with the World.    Today I have been edgy and mostly dissatisfied with myself and that's not unusual. Wherever my gaze might be directed I might find dissatisfaction there too; Iraq, Global Warming, too many Police, too many people .... Wah Wah.... Cry, Baby Cry. I think George Harrison had a tune or two like that.   Maybe I could do this or that to improve myself as a person. Maybe I could choose this (her) or that way (her) in romantic relationships. Maybe I will experience rejection where I felt only love and destiny. Maybe Baby... In the chaos and ineffectiveness of my existence to me, Peace is not a noun, it is not an Island to raise your Flag upon. It is not a place to strive for. It is here as we are here, in this moment to receive Life's blessings and then hidden by a passing cloud the very next.   Everything will be All right, as the great Chuck Day once said.      Guy W.
