It's been a long week cab driving a very exhausting job at least for me.

In the meantime we have our Vice President.

This is not Torture when we act to bring Fear of Death or Fear of Pain if not actual pain to a 'suspect'? There is a reason we signed the Geneva Convention besides that we had a lot of men of integrity, intelligence and high ideals running the country back in those days. We signed the Convention because we recognized that Torture was the realm of idiots, that it made no strategic sense in dealing with an enemy, particularly if you are trying to get good information. Not only that, that whole dark business was not the road we wanted to travel, that was not the path we were set up for. This Nation was set-up by extraordinarily high minded individuals who believed that we had a mission as a nation that Democracy was part of a Revolution that might be seen to be part of a dare we say divine purpose... ( I know... shades of Bush just the non-politically motivated Spirit) but that's what they believed. By the hand of our creator, a gift of Providence a high endeavor. Washington, Jefferson, Adams, they had their failings yes  they were human and they were 18th century. They got It. They held it. They started it. Where are we going?

Exercise in Democracy that's all that's needed to give us that Peaceful Revolution that I was talking about but still haven't really done a very good job in conveying what I am talking about.

here was the latest VP Cheney's commentary... from last week/
Here is a little bit of interesting dialogue about a young Patriot who was busted.

Yes I watched the Monday Night game. I hope they aren't getting these debatable or maybe not so calls just because they are the only team in the NFL with Red, White and Blue as part of their insignia. The Patriots look great. Bill, please pull Tom early one of these days I know it's not your style but it would make a lot of Patriot fans real happy, let him cheer on his back-up while there is a touch of drama in the game. I never did say how much it hurt me on the day the Patriots lost #4. That may have been the most depressing day of my life... Forget I said that I forgot about a few days that have been Blocked Out..

  Next week they'll meet.

What was I thinking getting tickets to the Rolling Stones and Van Morrison at the Coliseum that same night next Sunday. I don't like great big venues what I was looking for were the Who tickets in San Jose the following week somehow I impulsively...
