OK I realize that there is no room for criticism, levity or sarcasm for the world's religions these days. However there are a lot of ways to die and there maybe a lot of people who may want to do me in some day.. if I ever truly spoke my mind...however somehow to the best of my diplomatic (once in awhile) self I need to go ahead and sound off it feels like that is my job.       'Imam Khodr Chehab of the Islamic Society of Finland, which represents several different groups of Muslim immigrants in Finland, says that the cartoons are "deliberately offensive", as they try to portray Islam as a violent religion. '                        a paragraph lifted from a Somalian Online publication...    We need to hear from the Peace loving Muslims of the planet your voices are out there I wish it was a lot louder.   We need to hear from the Peace loving Westerners particularly Americans and I wish it was a lot louder.   I personally do not believe anyone ever needs to be killed or assaulted or hurt over matters of religion. It seems to me that every man woman and child has the right to express their sense of spirituality in each his own way and if your own faith is strong you need not get offended by the actions of others. If someone behaves with stupidity or ignorance directing it to your own religion then your own confidence & faith should be strong enough to not take offense. Idiots are idiots.  Do we want to have a world where we live in increasing fear of offending everyone be they Black, White, Women, Jews, Christians etc..? I don't. I see far to much over sensitivity to all kinds of behavior. There is a gathering tyranny of thought evident in the world. Neither fear nor the power of the government should be there to enforce anyone's opinion on any subject and perhaps particularly regarding religion. Those who threaten others for their opinions particularly religion but any subject do not deserve respect. I am sorry for whatever reasons you have for being enraged, for the flames of wrath to be encircling your brain that is very frightening, may God turn on the sprinklers and let you and all of us have some Peace.    Do I want to have governments arresting people for jokes about other peoples religions? I personally would prefer not. Ethnic jokes have a long tradition on this planet much of it is tasteless and nasty and reflects heavily on the ignorance of the speaker a lot of it is harmless and funny. It keeps us loose particularly as every human on this planet is susceptible to various forms of prejudice...   Right now this world is being driven into a hysteria of fear and yes indeed many westerners believe that all over the Muslim world men and women are using their religion and faith as a justification for Murder. How can we honestly say this is not a major manifestation? Violent religious people who judge others harshly threaten every one on Earth.   Many Westerners haven't still acknowledged the terrible injustice of allowing Israel to have the worlds blessings as it shoved the native Palestinians aside. In Iraq the US invasion has cost over 30,000 lives of mostly innocent Iraqis too my eyes it is a profound crime that far overshadows whatever crimes Saddam did because now that's us, my nation, the US bringing death and yes the 'Righteous' bombers in retaliation and on and on...   Will you all just kindly go to Hell.. You blow someone up no Allah no Heaven no Jesus no Muhammad .... very sorry. If there is an up/down afterlife can we all agree? Blow someone up your soul is not going to Paradise. That's it. Bin Laden, I would start getting even more worried about your life, deeply worried. George you committed the US to an invasion, an aggressive act of war against the will of The United Nations of Earth. You knew innocent Men and Women would die. Your evidence used in the justification was false, you brought this evidence before the Congress & the People of the US, it is apparent that you knew this evidence to be false. George it is time you wake up to what you have done. You are even deceiving yourself. Good Luck, you may want to begin your penance soon...
